‘Meditation hands’ palms pendant by Kathryn Bentley via popcorn plays

Amy Merrick

Amy Merrick from An Apple a Day creates the most beautiful flower arrangements.
The best form always already exists and no one should be afraid of making use of it, even if its elements derive from someone else’s work. We have enough original genius. Let’s repeat ourselves ad infinitum.

I came across the top paper rubbing at blaaaaaaaaaaat and it reminded me of an amazing rubbing, titled Life of Confucius, I've seen at the British Museum.
It is rubbed ink on the most delicate paper pasted together and i really recommend going to find it if you get the chance. It is currently hanging in the Grayson Perry: The Tomb of the Unknown Craftsman exhibition.

There's a certain Slant of light,
Winter Afternoons –
That oppresses, like the Heft
Of Cathedral Tunes –

Heavenly Hurt, it gives us –
We can find no scar,
But internal difference,
Where the Meanings, are –

None may teach it – Any –
'Tis the Seal Despair –
An imperial affliction
Sent us of the air –

When it comes, the Landscape listens –
Shadows – hold their breath –
When it goes, 'tis like the Distance
On the look of Death –

Emily Dickinson
