Johanna Quaas

Style, grace and strength. All at the age of 86 years young  (and with her glasses on!!)
Johanna is a retired PE teacher from Germany and has been named the world's oldest gymnast. She took part in her first competition at the age of 56, but fitness has always been a priority for her...and it shows...I love the top image of her in the planche with a smile, no easy thing!

Le weekend!

It's my birthday this weekend and I'm going to Paris with my best girlfriends. I AM BEYOND EXCITED!!
Cheers to whoever decided it was a good idea to celebrate birthdays. GENIUS.
And here's to aging. It is a privilege afforded to too few and NEVER a worry. I'm loving getting better at being me....

99!

This lady knows what she's talking about! Here are some more of Ruth's top tips...

1."I make myself go out everyday, even if its only to walk around the block. The Key to staying young is to keep moving."
2."Invest in Quality pieces, they never go out of style."
3."Don't look at the calendar just keep celebrating everyday."
4."I dress up everyday and I don't wear blue jeans."
5.Take care of your skin. Make sure and moisturize, inspired by Elizabeth Arden, "If you want to look like this when you are 40 start when you are 20."

All from the lovely style blog Advanced Style.
