Being creative is not so much the desire to do something as the listening to that which wants to be done: the dictation of materials.

“To Begin With, the Sweet Grass”

Someday I am going to ask my friend Paulus,
the dancer, the potter,
to make me a begging bowl
which I believe
my soul needs.

And if I come to you,
to the door of your comfortable house
with unwashed clothes and unclean fingernails,
will you put something into it?

I would like to take this chance.
I would like to give you this chance.

I've been thinking...

While I was away I thought alot about moving and creativity and how they link/overlap/enhance each other and about how I might start to combine the two in my teaching.

I also thought alot about trying to become ambidextrous. It's been a busy month ; )

Expect some brainstorming in this space.
