dancing like the sea

Alessandra Ferri and Frederico Bonelli rehearsing Wayne McGregors' 'Woolf Works'

'Life is not a series of gig-lamps symmetrically arranged; life is a luminous halo, a semi-transparent envelope surrounding us from the beginning of consciousness to the end… the proper stuff of fiction is a little other than custom would have us believe it.’

– Virginia Woolf, Modern Fiction

Misbehave more beautifully; more often.

Physical Thinking

"We are all experts in 'physical thinking', we all have a body right, and we all know what that body feels like in the real world..."

Mind and Movement

Go and see this exhibition at The Welcome collection!

Wayne McGregor is well known for his physically testing choreography and ground-breaking collaborations across dance, film, music, visual art, technology and science and this exhibition offers a glimpse into the process behind his work.

It beautifully shows ways in which mind and movement interact in each and every one of us. Inspiring.
